Description

RCM (Resilient CAD Modeling) defines a set of rules & best practices for creating robust CAD models by using a specific group-based hierarchy, obvious feature naming, and a decoupling of design intent from solid modeling. CAD models built using RCM are less likely to break and greatly simplify collaborative modeling within a team environment.

The RCM class held by Pipeline is highly recommended by me because it can give all users of CAD software the baseline techniques needed for robust cad modeling that saves much time and frustration in the long run especially when changing and revising CAD models.
It is a valuable class especially for users that are not immersed in CAD on a daily basis as it lays out techniques you may or may not learn in college courses and until you have many hundred or even thousands of hours in CAD you just won’t know.
It’s also good for the expert daily user as there is always something you can pick up and/or refresh yourself with. I have been doing CAD pretty much on a daily basis since 1993 with several different CAD softwares. I can say with confidence that this class does lay out the essential techniques needed for successful CAD modeling, which gives you models that can be shared between other users and changed easily regardless of what CAD program is used.
