To show our appreciation and value on reciprocity, we are formalizing the Pipeline Ambassador Program.

Pipeline invites select vendors, distributors, independent sales representatives, customers, or enterprising professionals to apply. To be considered, applicants must exemplify our core value #1 of treating our customers well and be of good standing in the community. Priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate a clear belief in Pipeline’s mission, core values, and services .

Approved Pipeline Ambassadors may earn a commission of $300 or 2.5% of gross sales, whichever is higher, by connecting Pipeline to new clients.

Who Can Become a Pipeline Ambassador?

Pipeline invites select vendors, distributors, independent sales representatives, customers, and enterprising professionals to apply.

If you are a vendor, instead of commission, we will prioritize using products or components you supply for referred projects. In cases where we are unable to use your components, whether the customer, project, or project timeline dictate the use of other components or products, you may receive a project referral commission.

 

*We absolutely believe in complying with laws and regulations, but we aren’t experts in anti-bribery and corruption. We also don’t want to jeopardize relationships with others or create any conflicts of interest. We can’t name all the dodgy situations that could happen, so let’s work together to make sure we avoid them.

For example, if a $9,000 project is awarded to Pipeline, a Pipeline Ambassador receives $300 (more than the 2.5% gross percentage which Is $225). If a $120,000 project is awarded to Pipeline, a Pipeline Ambassador receives the higher commission of $3,000.

*The minimum project size eligible for Ambassador Commission is $6000.

BENEFITS

In addition to tracking referrals made by Pipeline ambassadors, Pipeline will provide regular communications including special promotions, select events, and marketing materials to ambassadors. Training on Pipeline’s products and services will be provided, upon request.

FAQ

What happens once I’m approved?

We’re glad you asked! Once approved, you will receive an ambassador contract via AdobeSign and instructions on how to report your referrals.

What happens if I introduce a new customer to Pipeline who doesn’t have active projects?

Commissions are made on projects not on clients. If no project is awarded to Pipeline, no commission will be paid; however, if a Pipeline ambassador introduces us to a new customer who returns with an active project, commission will be paid to the ambassador for that.

When will commissions be paid?

Commissions will be paid when the referred project begins –when Pipeline receives a PO and/or initial deposit—and when the project ends.
Pipeline will pay commission on projects (whether fixed price or time & materials projects) in two payments:
The first payment, 50% of the commission rate, will be paid when Pipeline receives the initial deposit from the customer, usually 30 days from receipt of a PO.
The remainder of the commission will be paid 30 days after project close and receipt of the final payment.

How will Pipeline know if new customers were referred by me?

Pipeline will identify origination sources of new customers. In addition, each month, Pipeline will ask ambassadors to report new introductions to ensure the ambassadors are compensated for connections they make. As an ambassador, please be proactive in letting us know when you’ve sent a prospective customer our way to make sure you are credited for the introduction.
