Pipeline develops automated manufacturing equipment (also referred to as machine design) & custom test fixtures for hardware teams who need custom turnkey R&D and manufacturing solutions. Typical projects on which our customers leverage Pipeline range from simple static test fixtures manufactured with 3D printed components to highly sophisticated industrial automation controlled with PLCs and HMIs.

As integrators and expert machine design engineers, the equipment we design commonly includes a combination of  motors, sensors, pneumatic actuators (air cylinders), vision systems, robotic arms, & custom end of arm tooling (EOAT). Our production equipment is generally made from steel, stainless steel, Aluminum, Delrin & other engineering materials.

We design using Solidworks CAD and deliver full manufacturing documentation (mechanical & electrical drawings, as well as the 3D CAD files) along with our turnkey machines, equipment, and fixtures. Pipeline has provided product design/product development services since its inception in 2009. Our team of engineers and designers are experienced designing for common production manufacturing processes such as injection molding, CNC machining, welding, thermoforming, 3D printing, waterjet cutting, and urethane casting. Our in-house prototyping capabilities allow us to iterate designs rapidly until we converge on the right solutions.
