Why This Works (And Why the Prices Are So Competitive)
We are transparent about how this service works:
Your parts are manufactured overseas through a supply chain Pipeline has spent years qualifying, refining, and trusting.
That long-term relationship—combined with Pipeline’s engineering oversight—is exactly why we’re able to deliver:
- Pricing that routinely beats domestic options, often by a wide margin
- Exceptional quality, including on challenging, tight-tolerance parts
- Typical ~2-week lead times, with expedited options available on a case-by-case basis
This is not a broker network or a random offshore directory.
It is a single, proven manufacturing supply chain that Pipeline uses internally every day—and now offers to customers who want better economics without taking on overseas risk themselves.
Our supply chain consistently delivers as-good-or-better quality than many domestic shops we’ve worked with—especially for parts that are:
- Tightly toleranced
- Small and geometrically complex
- Made from challenging materials
- Difficult to fixture or manufacture repeatably
This service originally emerged when a customer could not find a domestic supplier willing or able to manufacture a particularly difficult component. Our overseas supply chain succeeded where others could not—and that experience ultimately became the foundation for this offering.
Every order is reviewed, tracked, and quality-checked by Pipeline prior to delivery.
While CNC machining is the most common use case, our supply chain supports a broader set of manufacturing processes that Pipeline customers frequently need:
- CNC machining (3-axis, 4-axis, complex precision parts)
- Wire EDM (for tight tolerances, hard materials, and complex internal features)
- Laser cutting
- Surface finishing, including anodizing and powder coating
- Urethane casting (for low-volume production and functional prototypes)
We can deliver individual parts, kits, or fully assembled components, depending on your needs.
Including, but not limited to:
- Aluminum
- Stainless steel
- Delrin / acetal
- Tool steels
- Tungsten carbide
- Other commonly machined engineering materials
✔ One-off prototypes
✔ Small batch production
✔ High-volume consumables
✔ No minimum order quantities
Pipeline is a team of practicing engineers, not just a procurement intermediary.
As part of this service, we can review your designs for manufacturability (DFM) and provide feedback to help ensure your parts are:
- Efficient to manufacture
- Cost-optimized
- Appropriately toleranced
- Aligned with the selected manufacturing process
This often results in lower part cost, better yield, and fewer surprises during production—without requiring additional internal effort from your team.
