Who is Kristy Walson?
Kristy Walson earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan.
Kristy Walson, PE, LEED Fellow, BEMP, is a mechanical engineer by trade who also happens to be a sustainability consultant. From idea through occupancy, Kristy specializes in energy modeling, energy audits, utility analysis, and sustainability advice. Meanwhile, She works as the principal and senior sustainability consultant at TLC Engineering Solutions, a firm that helps customers decrease their environmental footprint and apply sustainable practices throughout the lifecycle of their facilities. She is an expert in energy modeling as well as LEED administration. Kristy is also in charge of commercial building HVAC design and smoke control analyses.
As a result of her hard work, She has been named a 2020 LEED Fellow by Green Business Certification Inc. Great Job Kristy!
